Mr Monkey in Ostende
September 2009 - Mr Monkey visits the Flemish coast in search of public art in the open air.
Mr Monkey flies to Ostende, finds Beaufort 03 installations in Knokke-Heist, Zeebrugge, Blankenberge, Wenduine, De Haan, De Panne, Nieuwpoort, Middlekerke, Westende and Bredene, visiting Spioenkop and Ten Duinen 1138 in the process. He has a day out in Bruges and visits the Begijnhof and the Frietmuseum, and finally relaxes in Ostende. (78 pages)

Mr Monkey in Prague
June 2008 - Mr Monkey visits the capital of the Czech Republic.
Mr Monkey flies to Prague, wanders around the Old Town at night, visits the Museum of Communism, Josefov and the Vyšehrad National Cultural Monument, takes a tour in a vintage car, crosses Charles Bridge, visits the Observation Tower and a mirror maze, tours Prague Castle, the Cathedral of St Vitus and the Old Royal Palace, has a short boat trip, and finally climbs the Powder Tower before flying home. March 2008 - Mr Monkey decides to find out if he can go to the continent and back in one day.
Mr Monkey flies to Rotterdam, walks about a bit, visits the Netherlands Architecture Institute and the Sonneveld House, walks around some more, and takes a trip on a pancake boat. (51 pages)

Mr Monkey in Ostende
September 2007 - Mr Monkey celebrates Miss Carol's birthday on the Flemish coast.
Mr Monkey travels to Ostende where he sees an exhibition about TinTin and Hergé, learns about the siege of Ostende, visits the Japanese Garden and Fort Napoleon, wanders around Ostende docks, goes to Bruges to visit St Janshospitaal and see the sights, goes to Zeebrugge to tour SeaFront Zeebrugge, sees the Vindictive monument and generally wanders around Ostende. Mr Monkey in Brussels
May 2007 - Mr Monkey has another weekend away in Brussels.
Mr Monkey flies to Brussels, solves a murder at the Museum of Natural Sciences, visits the Wiertz Museum, breakfasts at Le Cirio, watches a small parade, examines some comic strip murals, visits the BELvue museum, looks at the Palais de Nation, some riot police, the Place des Martyrs and the outside of the Maison Cauchie, visits the Atomium, Mini-Europe and the Théâtre de Verdure, then flies home. Mr Monkey in Seattle
January/February 2007 - Mr Monkey goes to see if it really does constantly rain in Seattle.
Mr Monkey flies to Seattle via Amsterdam, rides the Spirit of Washington dinner train, visits Alki Beach, MOHAI, the Burke, Pike Place Market by day and night, Fremont, Gasworks Park, the Space Needle by day and by night, the Tacoma Glass Museum, the Washington State History Museum, and the Olympic Sculpture Park, attends Left Coast Crime 2007, visits Underground Seattle, Smith Tower, Waterfall Park and Pioneer Square, and takes a ferry to Bainbridge Island and back, fails to fly to Victoria B.C., visits the Northwest Seaport, the Klondike Gold Rush Museum and the Seattle Central Library, then flies home. Mr Monkey in Ghent
September 2006 - Mr Monkey spends a few days in the textile capital of Belgium.
Mr Monkey wanders the streets of Ghent and visits the Design Museum, St Peter's Abbey Arts Centre, the Vrijdagmarkt, a nice bar, the Castle of the Counts, MIAT, part of a music festival, and SMAK. He takes a long boat trip, tours St-Baaf's cathedral and the Belfry, visits an exhibition of modern art, and takes a train and a plane home. (109 pages)

Mr Monkey in Ostende
August 2006 - Mr Monkey spends a long weekend on the Flemish coast.
Mr Monkey stays in Ostende, takes a sea trip to Nieuwpoort, uses the coastal tram to visit De Panne, Oostduinkerke, Nieuwpoort, Westende, Middelkerke and Wenduine in search of the Beaufort 2006 art event, visits some Atlantic Wall defences and a medieval fishing village, wanders the streets of Ostende and examines a trawler before flying home. December 2005 - Mr Monkey goes to Brussels to see what happens at Christmas.
Mr Monkey looks at some EU buildings, visits the Musée d'Art et Histoire and the Parc du Cinquantenaire, gazes upon the Avenue Louisa, the Petite Sablon and Grande Sablon by night, goes beneath the Place Royal and on top of the BOZAR, experiences the Plaisirs d'Hiver in the Grand Place, the Place Ste Cathérine and the Marché aux Poissons, goes through an Ice Monster and on a ferris wheel, and examines several statues and comic strip murals. Mr Monkey in Stockholm
August 2005 - Mr Monkey spends a weekend in the largest city in Sweden.
Mr Monkey arrives in Stockholm by train, stays in a friend's flat, visits the Vasa, sees traditional buildings in the Skansen, visits Steninge Palace and Sigtuna, takes a boat tour around Stockholm harbour and tours a lightship and an icebreaker. (70 pages)

Mr Monkey in Göteborg
August 2005 - Mr Monkey visits the second largest city in Sweden for a week.
Mr Monkey takes a train from Malmö, walks around the streets of Göteborg, visits the Kvibergs artillery museum, takes a trip to the Nya Elfsborg fortress, spends an evening at the Liseberg amusement park, visits the Maritime Centre, looks at several churches, takes a trip out into the southern archipelago, and then sets off towards Stockholm in an X2000 train. Mr Monkey in Malmö
August 2005 - Mr Monkey visits the third largest city in Sweden for a long weekend.
Mr Monkey flies to Copenhagen, takes the train over the Øresund bridge to Malmö, visits Malmö harbour, the Lilla Torg, the Stortorget, the City Tunnel exhibition, the Scientific and Maritme museum, Malmöhus castle, takes a canal tour of Malmö, and visits Ystad to follow the footsteps of Inspector Wallander. (100 pages)

Mr Monkey in Brussels
May 2005 - Mr Monkey goes to Brussels for five nights.
Mr Monkey goes straight from London to Brussels. He flies from London City Airport, explores the Lower Town and the Grand Place, wonders at the Mannekin Pis and the size of Belgian comic strips, takes a train out of town to see the battlefield of Waterloo, visits the Parc du Cinquantenaire, the Royal Army Museum, the Belgian Comic Strip Centre, the Museum of the Bank of Belgium, the Musical Instruments Museum, and the Musée Horta. (95 pages)

Mr Monkey in New York
February 2005 - Mr Monkey goes to New York for five nights.
Mr Monkey does as much as he has time for in New York. He flies into JFK airport, takes a taxi into downtown Manhattan, inspects the seaport area and the Brooklyn Bridge, lands on Ellis Island, visits Castle Clinton, walks through streets in the snow, takes the A train, visits Roosevelt Island, the Gates in Central Park, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, listens to jazz at the Village Vanguard, walks under the Brooklyn Bridge, tours the East Side Tenement Museum and the Whitney Museum of American Art, eats with friends, looks at Times Square, tours the Empire State Building, visits the Cast Iron district and Washington Square, takes a nighttime ride on the Staten Island Ferry, looks at the outside of the Seaport Museum and some historic ships, takes a walk on Wall Street, takes a car to the airport, and flies home. Mr Monkey in Toronto
October 2004 - Mr Monkey spent a fortnight in Toronto.
Mr Monkey does numerous things around Toronto. He goes to a jazz club and the Art Gallery of Ontario, takes a helicopter flight, visits the CN Tower, Fort York, Todmorden Mills, the Don Vally, Cabbagetown, the Campbell House, and the Music Garden, takes an amphibious tour and an open top bus tour and attends Bouchercon 2004, then visits the Royal Ontario Museum, Yorkville and the Danforth, takes a train to Niagara Falls to see the falls, the Maid of the Mist and the Spanish Aero Car, takes the ferry to Ward's Island, and, finally, flies home to Manchester (191 pages)

Mr Monkey in Dublin
November 2003 - Mr Monkey spent a long weekend in Dublin.
Mr Monkey visits Trinity College, Temple Bar, the General Post Office, the Museum of Natural History, the Customs House, Kilmainham Gaol, Islandbridge Memorial park, Phoenix Park, Grafton Street, Marsh's Library, Jameson's Distillery, and the National Gallery, looks at the Four Courts, the Sunlight Chambers, and various other buildings, and takes a DUKW tour of the Grand Canal junction basin. (27 pages)

Mr Monkey in Copenhagen
November/December 2002 - Mr Monkey went to the Danish capital, to see Christmas begin.

Mr Monkey visits the Tivoli, the Strøget, Kongens Nytorv, Nyhavn, the Little Mermaid, the Rundetaarn, Amalienborg Plads, the Rådhusetpladsen, the Christiansborg palace, and takes a water taxi ride. (20 pages)
