Mr Monkey scampered along York Street and across Abbey Green then stopped to look at Sally Lunn's house. This time he stayed outside and compared the medieval brickwork with the stonework of the Georgian buildings of Bath. Then he scurried to the end of the street, and looked at a row of hotels which were originally built as lodging houses. If they hadn't burned down in 1820 and not been rebuilt Mr Monkey would have been able to look at the Lower Rooms, but they did, so he wasn't able to see the place where fashionable visitors to Bath came to see each other.
Mr Monkey spotted one of King Bladud's pigs in Abbey Green.
