"Why would anyone want to go swimming on a roof?"

On Hot Bath Street Mr Monkey went into the old Hetling Pump Room to visit the Spa Visitor Centre, where he looked at the small but informative exhibition about the rise and fall of baths in Bath. Outside Mr Monkey looked at the modern Thermae Bath Spa centre. This uses the old Hot Bath and a new building built on the site of a derelict swimming baths. The New Royal Bath is on the roof of the new part and includes an open air swimming pool.

You can read about the spa at the Thermae Bath Spa website.

Mr Monkey spotted one of King Bladud's pigs outside the Thermae Bath Spa.
