Mr Monkey considered walking from La Haie-Sainte all the way to La Belle Alliance and Caillou, as the Allied army did at the end the battle, but Mr Rik complained that it was further than Mr Monkey thought, and that the road went up and down too much. Mr Monkey had a quick look at the fields to the east of the road, that the French advanced across. As he set off back to Hameau du Lion he spotted a light plane flying around the Lion Mound.
