Mr Monkey at Eltham Palace and Hampton Court

"Those beasts look bad tempered"

After examining the Royal Beasts lining the bridge over the moat, Mr Monkey went into the Base Court. Apart from having grass instead of cobbles, this looks more or less as it did when Wolsey had it built. The gatehouse on the other side is Anne Boleyn's Gatehouse, but it only got its name in the nineteenth century.
