Mr Monkey walked up the very long driveway, to the main entrance. The gatehouse in the middle was built by Cardinal Wolsey. The wings either side of the gatehouse were added by Henry VIII after he acquired the palace from Wolsey. One was for some kitchens, the other for some new toilets.
