Mr Monkey crossed the Markt and went down Wollestraat. He crossed the Népomucène bridge, and stopped to look at the statue of St Jean Népomucène which gives the bridge its name. It reminded him of the statue of St John Nepomuk on Charles Bridge in Prague, possibly because it's the same person. Mr Monkey also looked at the house of Don Perez de Malvenda, where the phial of blood now housed in the Basilica of the Holy Blood was hidden during the religious upheavals of the 16th century.
