Mr Monkey at the Vyšehrad National Cultural Monument, 9th June

"I do like their roofs"

Mr Monkey looking at the New Provost's Residence Mr Monkey looking down from walls of Vyšehrad

Mr Monkey trotted through Vyšehrad, heading towards the gate in the north wall. He stopped to look at the New Provost's Residence, built in 1872-1874 to replace the Old Provost's Residence of 1719 which is just around the corner. He didn't visit the redan, built in 1850 so the Viennese government could bombard Prague, as it was being prepared for its current use as an open air theatre. Instead, Mr Monkey peered over the walls and looked across Prague.
