Mr Monkey went under Ouse Bridge, which was the New Ouse Bridge in 1820 when it replaced the existing Ouse Bridge after a decade of construction work. On the other side of the bridge Mr Monkey saw the King's Arms, possibly the most often flooded pub in York.
