Mr Monkey walks the walls of Chester

"It's a long drop to a watery fate, you know"

It was only when he looked over the walls to see a narrowboat on the Shropshire Union Canal that Mr Monkey realised quite how high the walls were. He scampered further along the north wall of the city, and paused at the north gate to look at the 1717 Bluecoat Charity School just on the other side of the canal. It's part of the history department of the University of Chester now.
