Mr Monkey in Southwark Cathedral

"It's only been a cathedral since 1905, you know"

There's been a church on this site since before 1086, but they keep burning down. Most of this one dates from 1220 to 1420, though they've had to do repairs since then. Mr Monkey paused outside for a moment to admire the tower, completed in 1420 by Henry Beaufort, Bishop of Winchester, then scurried in through the south door.
