Mr Monkey in Bristol, March 14th

"They say it's the only civic chapel in the country, you know"

Tuesday:
Mr Monkey decided he'd like to see the Clifton Suspension Bridge, and he insisted his humans walk there. On the way up Park Street, he paused to look at Langford's Electric Clock. One of the first public clocks in Bristol to show Greenwich Mean Time instead of local time, when Mr Monkey looked it was showing two different times, both wrong. Then he looked at St Mark's, which has been the Lord Mayor's Chapel since 1722 when the Lord Mayor was banned from the cathedral for walking out of services too early.
