Mr Monkey in Swindon

"They rather took their time, didn't they?"

Mr Monkey looking at propped up walls Mr Monkey in the Worker's Tunnel

Mr Monkey was a little worried by the way the remaining walls of one of the sheds were held up by big metal props, so he quickly scampered into the workers tunnel. This was built in 1871 to allow workers to get between the Works and their homes in Swindon without having to run across the mainline railway tracks. Mr Monkey thinks that 30 years is a pretty long time to take to notice that your workers are being run over by your trains.
