Mr Monkey visits the Vasa Museum

"It's never a good idea to leave a reminder that your best ship sank"

Mr Monkey clambered up some stairs to the next floor up, where he was roughly on a level with the main deck. He looked up at the masts. Most of the ship is bits of the 17th century original reassembled very carefully, but the tops of the masts are modern replacements of the bits cut off because they rather annoyingly stuck out of the water after the ship sank. He was also fascinated by the long mast above the prow, and the carved lion figurehead under the prow.
