When the ferry stopped at the pier, Mr Monkey jumped off. One of the wardens who lives on the island gave a short talk about the places that could be seen, and warned everyone that the island was in the grip of evil sea-owls. Mr Monkey decided he'd start by seeing some of the WW1 and WW2 defences, so he climbed the hill to the east.
