When they'd finished dining in the dining room, the ladies would withdraw to the drawing room until the gentlemen had finished smoking. Upstairs, Mr Monkey was shown this bedroom, which could be used to receive guests in, if you couldn't be bothered to get out of bed. There was also a ballroom, but Mr Monkey couldn't go in, as they were having some repairs done. Mr Monkey thought it was a little strange to have a ballroom upstairs.
