Mr Monkey found out that lead mines are very damp, and, if your guide suggests everyone turn their helmet lamps off, very dark. After the underground tour, he examined the remains of the mine machinery. These two waterwheels powered the machines that crushed lead ore, and worked the drainage pump for the lowest level.
