Mr Monkey at RAF Hendon

"These are rather large planes, you know"

From the Milestones of Flight, Mr Monkey went through a little tunnel and found himself in a corner of the Bomber Command collection. Mr Monkey suspects that people used to come in from a different direction, so that the first bomber they'd see would be the Lancaster, which is a pretty impressive aircraft. Mr Monkey thought the Wellington was good too; though the Lancaster is probably more famous, there were more Wellingtons built than any other British bomber.

There's a full list of the Bomber Command planes at the Bomber Command Collection website.
