To the south west Mr Monkey looked out upon the arched roof of what used to be Manchester Central Station, the Beetham Tower and the warehouse of the Great Northern Railway. He could also see the railway viaduct which takes trains and trams out of Manchester; there was originally a connection from the viaduct straight into the Great Northern's warehouse. To the west, Mr Monkey looked down on St Mary's the Hidden Gem, glad of a chance to see its upper stories.
