When Mr Monkey got off the train at Blackpool one of the first things he noticed was that the Tower didn't seem to be where it ought to be. He decided that it hadn't been made invisible by the magician's convention that was in town, and that low cloud and freezing fog was a more likely explanation. In search of breakfast he went to the newly developed St John's area where he found the Court of the Fire Queen being prepared for the evening's entertainment.
