Mr Monkey's humans pointed out that they hadn't eaten since their last meal, so Mr Monkey let them go down into the medieval cellars to eat frites in the Frietmuseum's frituur. When they'd finished, Mr Monkey inspected the decorations awarded by the Nationaal verbond van frituristen (Union nationale des frituristes) to people who've done something oustanding for Belgian frite frying. The Union was founded in 1984 to protect Belgium's potato frying heritage.
