"Their sign is very discreet"

Mr Monkey hurried up Vlamingstraat until he got to the Saaihalle. This was originally built in 1399 as a house for merchants from Genoa, and was later combined with a 15th century building owned by the Genoese Consul. Now it's the home of the world's first (and only) museum of chips*.

* that's proper chips, not to be mistaken for potato crisps.

You can read about the museum at the Frietmuseum website.
