On the beach at De Haan Mr Monkey found Le Vent souffle où il veut (The Wind blows where it will) by Daniel Buren. This was a collection of more colourfully striped windsocks than Mr Monkey could count, arranged in a diamond shape on the beach. After admiring them for a while, Mr Monkey realised that the windsocks were extended whether or not the wind was blowing and decided that there must have been some kind of framework inside them.
