Mr Monkey took his humans for a snack in a cafe near the bridge, then set out to explore Hall Leys Park. Just after he'd walked past a small shelter which used to be part of a cable-worked tram system that ran up the hill from Crown Square, it started raining and he had to shelter under some trees. While he was avoiding the weather, he spotted an elephant on the back of Derbyshire House (built in the 1920s) and a crown atop Crown Buildings. The elephant is the logo of Burgons, a provision shop that used to be in Derbyshire House.
