Mr Monkey scurried across Piccadilly to have a look at St. James's church. Designed by Wren the church was built between 1676 and 1684 and was one of Wren's favourite churches. Mr Monkey admired the wide and spacious nave, without interior walls, that Wren had designed so that a congregation of 2000 could all see the preacher at once.
