Mr Monkey walks the Macclesfield Canal from Marple to Wood Lanes, 17th March

"It's not quite dark and satanic but it's working on it"

Mr Monkey trotted towards Goyt Mill. He could tell it was Goyt Mill because the Goyt Spinning Company had thoughtfully written GOYT in big letters on the tower when they had it built as a cotton mill in 1905. There's a number of small businesses occupying the mill now. Mr Monkey looked at the remains of the loading bay, and carried on walking.
