Mr Monkey spotted two towers at the Malá Strana (Little Quarter) end of the bridge. The taller tower (on the right) was built specially for Charles Bridge; the smaller tower is based on the remains of a tower defending the older Judith Bridge. Before he got to the actual end of the bridge, Mr Monkey found the steps down to Kampa Island and decided he'd scurry down them. On the way down he looked at the statue of the Bohemian hero Bruncvík standing on a pillar beside the bridge and at a selection of tour boats.
You can read about Bruncvík at the Prague Radio website.
