Mr Monkey studied a wall covered in the temporary nameplates attached to the front of locomotives to show that they're pulling a named train. Then he looked at the Ellerman Lines, a rebuilt Merchant Navy Class 4-6-2. He couldn't help noticing that someone had cut the side of the locomotive away, so that he could see the working bits inside. Scampering around the loco he found they'd only cut up the one side.
You can read about the Merchant Navy Class at the Merchant Navy Locomotive Preservation Society website.
