A prominent feature of the Great Hall of the NRM is the turntable, which used to be the main turntable for the York North shed. If he'd been there at the right time Mr Monkey would have seen the turntable being turned but he wasn't, so he didn't. Instead he scampered around looking at all the locomotives arranged around the turntable. He also saw a lot of displays about railways, and learned how to make a British Rail sandwich.
