Mr Monkey went out into the central courtyard of the fort. There wasn't much on the ground, just a grating covering a well and some benches, so he looked up at the walls. The little black bars in the corners used to be something to do with holding the fort together. Mr Monkey hoped he'd be able to find out what the pointy thing on the roof was.
