The third board, Unhindered Supply, told Mr Monkey how the Ostenders could hold out for so long. While the original channel to their harbour was under constant attack by the Spanish in the west, they were able to dig a north eastern channel. They were able to keep this channel clear of Spanish obstruction and were supplied by sea until the end of the siege in 1604.
