Mr Monkey left the underground at Lambeth North and scampered along to the Imperial War Museum. In the gardens surrounding the museum he saw a simple and moving monument honouring the 27 million Soviet citizens, civilian and military, who died defeating the Nazis in the Second World War. Then he looked at something that might have been a bench and a bent flagpole, or might have been a very big sundial.
