Mr Monkey in Harrogate, 21st July

"That's probably the widest ginnel in the world"

Mr Monkey looking at the Royal Baths Mr Monkey walking up The Ginnel

Saturday
Mr Monkey scurried through the streets of Harrogate. He had a quick look at the Royal Baths, built between 1894 and 1897, then trotted around Montpelier Gardens and up a rather wide street. He was rather surprised to find that it was called The Ginnel, because he thought that everyone knew that a ginnel was a very narrow alleyway. So narrow that you ought to be able to stop a pig in a ginnel by just standing there.
