Mr Monkey went to one last panel, where Harley Jane Kozak, John Billheimer, Alan Gold, Rita Lakin and Rhys Bowen tried to fool the audience by making up fake first lines for famous crime books. Afterwards Mr Monkey went into the dealer's room which had been turned into a signing room. He met Stephen Booth and Peter May, who were obviously waiting to be photographed with a shoulder borne monkey*.

* or, more probably, not waiting to be photographed with a monkey at all.
