During the Gala Dinner they give an award called the Leftie to the book voted best humorous mystery of the year by the people at Left Coast Crime. This year the Leftie was awarded to Donna Moore, for her excellent book Go To Helena Handbasket. After the dinner Mr Monkey scampered off into the bar with his 4MA friends for drink, and chat, and chocolates.
