Mr Monkey showed the second halves of his Night and Day tickets to the Needle staff and went up in the lift to the observation deck. He found that if he went out onto the external gallery it was very cold and not very well lit, while if he went back in it was well lit but the view wasn't so good. When he'd finished looking at Seattle in the night he scampered back to his hotel for a banana and some hot chocolate, while he planned his next day.
