Mr Monkey sees Last Orders at the Royal Exchange Theatre, 23rd January
Before he visiting the pub in Two, Mr Monkey strolled upstairs to the Royal Exchange Mezzanine to see Last Orders, an exhibition of photos of closed pubs to contrast with the open pub in the play.
The photographs were taken by Rik Sterken, a semi-professional photopgraher and winner of the Professional Photographer magazine's 2007 sports photography award.
While Mr Monkey found many of the pictures interesting as examples of disused buildings, he'd have liked a little more context, such as when the pubs had closed or how close they were to each other.
