While he was looking at The Walking Dead Mr Monkey spotted a curvy wooden structure hanging from the ceiling so he went upstairs to investigate.

Wood For The Trees is a sculpture created by Charlie Whinney, displayed around the country and in Manchester as part of the recent celebration of Schwitters' Merz movement. The sculpture is formed from sections of 'live' green wood, shaped by steam-bending and reliant on the natural properties of the material to stay in shape.

Wood For The Trees is on display until 6th June 2011.
