After leaving the Tower Bridge Exhibition, Mr Monkey looked at the bridge, imagining all the hydraulic piping going up the towers, along the walkways and down the other side. He noticed that there were some nicely decorative gargoyles on the South Abutment* and wondered if they'd used dragons because that's the symbol of the City of London.
* Apparently abutment is the proper name for the smaller towers of the bridge.
