Mr Monkey in the Belfry

"It's best to start at the bottom with a tower"

Mr Monkey looked up at the tower of the Belfry, which looked much taller as he got close to it, then scampered into the building. On the ground floor he saw replicas of the four watchmen placed on top of the Belfry in 1913 (the very first ones were put up in 1339), the room that all the records of Ghent were kept under lock and key in since 1402, and the entrance to a tunnel built by German occupation forces.

You can read about the Belfry at the Gent online website.
