The boat turned around a little short of the Krommewalbrug, and headed back down the Leie. The guide, who was also piloting the boat, told Mr Monkey that the windows beneath Pablo's restaurant used to be doors allowing goods to be unloaded directly into warehouses. Then the boat took Mr Monkey past the timber-clad old fish market and into the River Lieve.
