Mr Monkey at the Design Museum, September 14th

"You'd need some awfully big flowers to fill that, you know"

Mr Monkey peered out of one of the windows and couldn't help noticing that there was a very large vase in the courtyard. On the way out of the museum, Mr Monkey found a way into the courtyard and went to inspect the vase. It's called the Grande Vaso di Gent and was made by Andrea Branzi. Mr Monkey thinks that nine metres is just a little tall for a vase.

You can read about Branzi at the Andrea Branzi Architetto website (mostly Italian, but there's a lot of 'english text' links).
