Mr Monkey found that the inside of the ruin was an archaeologist's site office. Near it they'd left a section of the site more or less as it looked during the dig, only with very clean artefacts lying in the mud. They dug up so many medieval bricks that they were able to make three of the four buildings with real medieval bricks. After taking a last look at the recreated buildings, Mr Monkey went into the Walraversijde museum and learnt about the history of the village.
