The biggest of the recreated houses has been decorated inside to look like a ship owners house. Mr Monkey wasn't allowed to take pictures inside, but it's quite posh. It's even got real glass in some of the windows, and the master and his wife slept downstairs in a room all by themselves. Then he went next door where a fisherman's widow slept under the stairs.
