Mr Monkey walks the walls of Chester

"It's a pleasant garden, you know"

Mr Monkey left the walls at Newgate, and trotted into the Roman Gardens. These are gardens that have some spare Roman bits, rather than gardens that are actually Roman. Mr Monkey examined a section of wall that had been repaired after being knocked down by Parlimentarian cannon based in the churchyard of St John's. Then he looked at a hypocaust under-floor heating system made from bits of real Roman hypocaust found somewhere else in the city.
