At Birmingham New Street, Mr Monkey was interested to find that instead of another Pendolino, there was an older style train waiting to take him to Stockport. This meant there was more room for his humans to sit in, and the window didn't lean in, but it wasn't so good for the catering staff. Mr Monkey's train thundered through the dusk and soon he was home.
