Mr Monkey stayed in Mr Rik's pocket for most of the 105 feet up to the viewing platform, but jumped out to run up the last few steps. He was a bit miffed to find out that the inside of the tower was lined with ordinary bricks, but pleased to see that the parapet was of sandstone. When the tower was built, they'd planned to fit a lift, but no-one ever got round to it.
