Mr Monkey at the Georgian House

"They're keen on their food here, it seems"

Mr Monkey in the Eating Room Mr Monkey looking at the Breakfast Parlour

Mr Monkey scampered into the Georgian House. The house was built in 1791 for John Pinney, a merchant who made his money in the West Indies and returned to Bristol to found a sugar company. The house is owned by the council now, and has been arranged to appear much as it did at the beginning of the 19th century. On the ground floor, Mr Monkey found that the tables in both the Breakfast Parlour and the Eating Room were set for meals.

You can read about the Georgian House at the Bristol-Link website.
