Mr Monkey in Bristol, March 14th

"It looks quite a bright little ship"

Mr Monkey tried to visit the SS Great Britain, but it was so near closing time that they weren't letting people aboard any more. So Mr Monkey went to have a look at the Matthew instead. This is a replica of the rather small ship that John Cabot sailed off in when he left Bristol to discover Newfoundland in 1497. The replica has been sailed to Newfoundland and back, even though Newfoundland had already been discovered.
