Mr Monkey wanted to cross the road to look at the river and the bridge, but his humans refused to step out into a steady stream of cars doing 40mph. He had to scamper all the way along Hotwell Road almost to the main gate to the docks, cross the road by a pedestrian bridge, and then go all the way back along Hotwell Road again.
